The Rapala Original Floater F09 Rainbow Trout (3-1/2, 3/16 oz) is the lure that started a legacy. Handcrafted from premium balsa wood, this floating minnow delivers the legendary wounded-minnow action that has been fooling fish since 1936. Its lifelike swimming motion and realistic Rainbow Trout pattern make it a favorite for anglers chasing bass, trout, walleye, and panfish.

Twitch it lightly on the surface for topwater action, retrieve it as a shallow runner, or add a split shot for deeper presentations, no matter the technique, it swims true and natural. Each lure is hand-tuned and tank-tested to ensure perfect action straight from the box.

Built with stainless through-wire construction for durability and equipped with premium VMC black nickel hooks, this Rapala classic continues to stand the test of time. The Rainbow Trout finish adds a touch of realism that draws strikes in both clear and lightly stained water.
